2023
The 2023 winners were Caeden Schulte, Kate Fachet, Luke Bova and Caleb Schneck. Caeden is headed off to Messiah University to play baseball and study Sports Management. Kate is interested in studying Biochemistry. Luke will be attending Liberty University and studying Film & Cinematography. Caleb is head to the University of Maryland and studying Finance.
2022
Adam Martin, Charlie Ritz, Joshua Ridgely and Skylar Grimes were awarded the Bert Robertson scholarship for 2022. Skylar will be attending York College and studying Psychology. Joshua will be pursuing a degree in Environmental Science from Liberty University. Charlie will be starting off at Anne Arundel Community College studying Computer Science. Adam is taking his talents to St Mary's College of MD and studying Business and Entrepreneurship.
2021
This year's winners included Patrick Outten, Kassidy Robinson, and Alexis Gross. Kassidy will be attending Brigham Young University and studying Accounting. Alexis is headed to Stevenson University and to pursue a bachelor's in Nursing. Patrick is going to Salisbury University and studying Business Management.
2020
Four very deserving students have been awarded the scholarship in 2020 including Carter Childs, Johnny Ritz, Ben Herlihy, and Kaitlyn Robinson. Kaitlyn is attending Brigham Young University and studying Genetics, Genomics and Biotechnology. Ben will be attending Coastal Carolina in Business and Marketing. Johnny is headed to the University of Maryland and studying Biomedical Engineering. Carter will be pursuing a degree in Communications at Coastal Carolina.
2019
This year’s winners included Samantha Robertson,
Madi Banks and Ally Heath. Samantha
Robertson will be attending McDaniel College studying Biology. Madi Banks will
be attending the University of South Carolina Aiken studying something very
interesting and playing goalie for the women’s soccer team! Ally Heath will be
attending Campbell University and majoring in Education or Kinesiology.
2018
Due to the large number of exceptional
candidates, $3,000 in awards were made to five very deserving graduates: Kyle
Allewalt, Andrew Smith, Caroline Marr, Connor Abplanalp and Matthew Cutter. Kyle
Allewalt will be attending The Ohio State University studying Finance and
Spanish. Andrew Smith will be attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical
University studying Aerospace Engineering. Caroline Marr will be attending the
University of Maryland studying International Relations. Connor
Abplanalp will be attending Chesapeake Community College studying
agriculture. Matthew Cutter will be attending Chesapeake Community
College studying Pre-Med.
2017
This year the scholarships went to three
deserving high school graduates: Brianna Millet, Sean Van Rees and Bryn
Stricker. Brianna Millet will be attending Chesapeake Community College
studying education or nursing, Sean Van Rees will be attending Embry Riddle
Aeronautical University studying Mechanical Engineering and Bryn Stricker will
be attending Rochester Institute of Technology studying Electrical
Engineering.. A total of $2,000 in awards was made to these students.
2016
This year the scholarships went to three
deserving recent high school graduates: Brandon Gross, Ann a Poe and Jacob
Cutter. Jacob Cutter will be attending Lehigh Community College studying
business, Anna Poe will be attending Syracuse University and Brandon Gross will
be attending Washington College studying elementary education. The three
winners split the $2,000 scholarship.

2015
This year $2,000 in scholarships went to three deserving recent
high school graduates: Dylan Abplanalp, Elizabeth Arentz and Michael Robertson
(Bert’s grandson). Dylan Abplanalp will be attending Susquehanna University
studying Sports Media, Elizabeth Arentz will be attending the University of
Maryland College Park studying Neurobiology and Physiology and Michael Robertson
will be attending Chesapeake College before transferring to UMD studying
business administration and law.
